Fruit Jam French Toast + Giveaway

I saw an interesting way of serving french toast in one of the you tube channel some weeks back and it was nagging at the back of my mind.

Rather than the conventional French Toast that I used to serve, this Fruit Jam French Toast looks simple and yet delicious to whip up for breakfast.

This is also great as a snack.  My family finds it nice and this is definitely a keeper!

What you need:
Serve 4

16 slices of white bread
90g cream cheese
Alce Nero Organic Fruit Jam

Butter for frying

2 Egg, beaten
2 tsp Cinnamon
6 tbsp Sugar

Method:

Trim off all the brown edges from the white bread.

Roll bread till flat.

Whisk cream cheese until creamy and soft.  Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese up to half of the bread slice.

Put a tsp of Alce Nero Organic Fruit Jam on top of the cream cheese (on one end only).  Spread it out with the teaspoon.

Begin rolling the bread, start from the jam covered end.

Add a dollop of butter onto a non stick frying pan.

Dip the rolls into the beaten eggs and coat evenly.

Once butter melts, place the rolls onto the pan and fry until golden.  Flipping each side.  Remove.

Immediately coat with cinnamon sugar.

Serve hot.
