Steamed Minced Pork with Salted Fish (Anchovy)

Luckily today the PSI is back to the safe mode.  It was pretty scary yesterday with PSI as high as 155.   I just hope that it will rain tonight, at least to cool down the ground and washes off those dust.

I decided to have steam food instead.  

Hubby bought some salted fish from Thailand.  The quality is different from those that we got from Malaysia.  It has a softer texture and it looks more pink!  Taste wise is comparable.  We love Steamed Minced Pork with salted fish and it’s been a while I last prepared this. 

Salted fish taste is also quite similar to anchovy.  In fact, I tasted pizza with anchovy and really like it.  Perhaps I should made a pizza with salted fish! hahaha... as anchovy is expensive in Singapore.

My dish didn't come out pretty, somehow the salted fish seems to be melted into the minced pork.  Nevertheless, trust me, the taste is still yummy (that is if you like salted fish like us).


Now let's pray that Ms Rain will come visiting us tonight.
