Green bean soup (绿豆汤)

Lastly, Green bean soup (绿豆汤) !  With the humid weather, we need to counter balance our yin and yang.  The girls brought some durian and this will goes really well with green bean soup to balance off that heatiness.

What you need:

200g green bean (removed grits and rinsed)
40g sago
sugar to taste
a bunch of rue (for flavour)
durian flesh (optional)

Boil green bean and rue till green bean broken down.

In another pot, bring water to a boil and add in sago.  Boil till sago turned transparent.  Strain under running water.  Shake dry and add into the green bean soup.

Sweeten with sugar.

Serve hot or cold.

As for our little party, it was a blast.  We had so much fun and I am sure the girls too wanted to do it again.

Thanks Girls!
