Maple Syrup French Toast with cream cheese

I enjoy making breakfast for my family and this can only be done on a weekend.  We can sit down as a family and have a fuss free and relaxing breakfast.

My new bottle of maple syrup which I only served one pancake breakfast ONCE is now reduced to only 3 tbsp of it!  Gosh, I seriously think there is a rat in this house.

I better let my family eat it before it is all gone and this breakfast turned out to be really delicious.

What you need:

3 eggs
3 tbsp of maple syrup

cream cheese spread
blueberry jam

White bread

Butter for frying

Method:

Beat eggs with maple syrup.  Set aside.

Spread cream cheese on one side of the bread and then blueberry jam on the other side of the bread.

Close them together like a sandwich.

Dip into the egg mixture, making sure the bread is fully soaked.

Heat a non stick pan and add some butter.

When butter melts, placed the soaked sandwich into the pan and fry till golden brown.

Remove and serve hot with fruits.

I too am already out of this year's Maple Syrup. I saw some at the Farmers' Market the other day, I knew I should have bought it!
