Black Bean Beef Noodle 豉汁牛河

豉汁牛河 is one of my favourite noodle dish.  I am trying to replicate it and am still disappointment with the outcome.  Though the taste is good but somehow I can't achieve that saucy texture.

Hubby commented maybe we need more sauce so the next time, I better be very generous with it.

Luckily the meal came out tasty so I won't say I failed in this meal but I think I will have to try to be better.

  1. Hi Edith! This is one of my favourite Tze-Char one-dish meal! Agree with your hubby it looks a bit dry.

    Kok Seng at Keong Siak does this quite well. You might want to try it out on days that you are lazy to cook. :D

    1. Thanks for the heads up. We used to love the one opp Thomson Medical but PRC has since taken over the cooking so lost it authentic flavour. Will def head to Kok Seng when we next crave for it.
