Muffin (Kids friendly)

For today's bake along session with her friend, D.  My girl wanted to bake this Muffin (kids friendly) recipe which she learnt when young,

Really easy and idiot proof I must say.  This recipe is good to work with for children.

Try it since it is school holiday.

What you need:

125g plain flour
¾ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp slat
63g butter
125g sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
63g milk

Preheat oven to 180°C

Line muffin pan.

Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.  Set aside.

Beat butter and sugar on med high until light and fluffy (about 3 mins)

Add in the egg and beat until combined.

Mix in the vanilla.

Add flour mixture and beat to combine.

Add milk and combine.  DO NOT OVER MIX.

Fill muffin cup to ¾ full.

Bake for 30 mins or until brown.

If you want to add in fillings, put 3 tbsp of batter first and then add your choice of flavour and top off with more batter.

  1. oh, nice basic muffin... i will try this with some variations.. tks for sharing

    1. Yes Vic this is a nice basic and works well with any variation. For this one, since I ran out of fresh milk, I substituted it with chocolate milk.

Thanks for dropping by. Give me a tinkle if you have some fun on this recipe too. Will be nice to leave a name if you are in the Anonymous category, otherwise it will be group under spam. Have fun.
