Beef Rendang (3)

Ever since I owned a Thermomix, I really enjoyed making rempah.  It is so smooth!  This time, I tried out another Beef Rendang (3) recipe and am so happy that this turned out well especially 2 days of cooking.

It is also the first time I purchase beef muscle as recommended by the new butcher that my mom found.   I also combined some beef shin and these turned out melt in the mouth texture.



Learning experience: Next time if I used beef muscle, I shall cut them into small cubes.

It seems that beef muscle takes a much longer time to cook as compared to shin.

As normal, Rendang do need time to develop flavours.
