Kueh Dadar

While I was doing my marketing in the wet market, I chanced upon a stall selling freshly grated coconut.  I remembered while attending one of those rare baking class, the teacher mentioned about this stall too.  Since they are opened, I couldn't resist not getting a packet home for hubby loves anything with coconut. (this stall closed really early by the way)

I already had in mind what I wanted to do with it.  Turn it into Kueh Dadar!  Don't remember I ever attempted on this one or have I?

I am not sure how to tell between a good dadar or a bad one as I don't take coconut. But hubby said it is good enough except that the skin was a little too thick.

Despite me trying my best to spread the batter more evenly, I guess I failed.  My pan was too hot I guess as before I get a chance to spread it further, it was already set.

This is an easy dessert to make as you can space out the preparation time.

Overall, I think if my skin is thinner, I would have passed the test.

To those who made this often, any tip to share with me?
