15 Mins Pizza

When I saw Anncoo Journal 15 Mins pizza, I knew I had to try it because my kids love pizza!  and it is the fastest way to serve one.

I was a happy mom when I remembered to get the base.  Happily I went about assembling it and serving it on the table.  Boy was happy as he gets to do the toppings with lots of cheeses and his favourite salami.  Girl was happy eating this delicious pizza.

It was only when I wanted to document this learning journey in my blog and was retracting back to Ann's blog for reference that I realised that I got the wrong base!

Instead of wholemeal wrap, I actually gotten wholemeal pita pockets!.  Alamak, such muddle head I have got.

Luckily, all is not lost as the pizza produced a very crispy base and with the wholemeal, it gives it a very nice texture as well.

Thanks Ann, my kids love it.

What you need:

1 packet of pita bread (mine was the big ones)
Toppings of your choice (salami, ham, pineapple, pepperoni etc)
Pizza sauce
Cheeses (I like a combination of mozzarella and cheddar

Method:

Preheat oven to 200ºC .

Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce round the pita bread.  Try to go as close to the edge.

Place cheddar and mozzarella round it.

Add toppings of your choice and top with more mozzarella.

Bake for 15 mins or until the base is crisp and the cheese is melted.

Serve hot.
