Pig Trotter Bee Hoon (猪脚米粉)

Going to keep this short as I have just had a little surgery to remove a cyst and am now waiting for the report.  Thus am trying to distract myself from thinking too much.

Okay back to food.........

Once we ate some really good 猪脚米粉 near to the Keppel Shipyard years ago when that area is still a ship yard.  If I am not wrong, the place is called Dotty Cafe.  A nice little cafe that is near to the water front overlooking Sentosa.  These days, such hide out are a rare gem.

Anyway, hubby and I are craving for this sinful dish.  The quickest way to satisfy us was to fry some ourselves.

So let's tuck in.



What you need:

3 can of pig trotters 
bee hoon, soaked
minced garlic
beansprouts
lettuce
fish sauce and pepper

Method:

Filter oil and sauce (separately) from cans.  

Using the oil from can, fry minced garlic till fragrant.

Add in bee hoon and stir fry till garlic mixed well. 

Add sauce and cooked bee hoon further.

Add in beansprout and lettuce.

Seasoned with fish sauce and pepper.
